LAILA REZK & LEANDRO OLIVER
We take great pride in welcoming back the the region's most favorite and sought-after couple Laila & Leandro Oliver. This will be the third time that TANGOBLITZ is featuring this lovely couple who are not only superb performers but excellent teachers with great charismatic characters as well. Laila & Leandro are principal members of the the highly acclaimed UNA NOCHE DE TANGO by Miguel Angel Zotto.
They have been featured in many festivals in the USA, Latin America, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia. Their workshops are always well-attended as they share their best kept secrets to their students.
TAMARA BISCEGLIA & FEDERICO PALEO
It May come as a surprise to many but Tamara Bisceglia is also working for the 3rd time with TANGOBLITZ having worked with two different partners in our past presentation. First with the great Roberto Herrera in 2007 and with Mauro Caiazza in 2011. Tamara has won the hearts of many of our enthusiasts during her forays earning her place as the regions Divine Tango Diva. She has been too many festivals and shows around Europe, Asia and America. And has been a principal dancer of the long-running Tango show FOREVER TANGO.
This year, she will be working with her new partner, Federico Paleo, who will be another heart-throb our regional tangueras and tangueros (?) will adore.
Tamara & Federico are currently working together and has been doing their rounds of shows and workshops in Buenos Aires where they are currently based.
NOELIA COLETTI & PABLO GIORGINI
Pablo & Noelia begin their career in 1997, at the age of 16 and 17. They focus their work on stage tango and salon tango. They join the cast of the musical TANGUERA in 2003, performing in the most prestigious theatres of Buenos Aires and all over the world. In 2005 they travel to Japan to present the tango show of the Argentinean Pavilion at the Aichi World Expo, performing for important figures as the Emperor of Japan and the princess Máxima of Holland, among others. At the same time they conduct a special tango workshop for the company Alegría of Cirque du Soleil.
From then on they have been traveling as dancers and profesors all over the world, joining festivals and workshops in Tokio, Hong Kong, Taipei, Beijing, Shanghai, Granada, Tavira, etc. They were choregraphers and trainers of the champions of stage tango in the Asian Tango Championship in Japan in 2006, and were coach of the champions and subchampions of the Metropolitan Championship in Buenos Aires in 2010.
They organize the Practica of Stage Tango in Buenos Aires, becoming the place of training and formation for many renowned dancers.
They currently live in Buenos Aires, teaching and participating in important events and festivals and are widely renowned for their work as profesors, trainers, choreographers and dancers.
ANALIA CARRENO & LUIGGI RAMIREZ
Charismatic, passionate and virtuous young tango couple from Argentina.
Furthermore, they are masters, choreographers, founders and directors of ConjuroTango. In their work, they apply all the knowledge they have from different dance disciplines as Flamenco, Jazz and ballet, and the real mud of Tango they have taken up when learning with the old masters milongueros and dancing at Buenos Aires’s Milongas. They exquisitely fuse these elements, strongly enriching the dynamic of this dance without losing its essence, the real heart of traditional Tango.
Analia Carreño
is an international dancer and choreographer. She started his passion for dance since she was very young at the age of four. She hardly studied ballet, jazz, flamenco, latin dances and tango with argentinean and foreigner masters. She performed at the famous theatres of Corrientes Avenueas “El nacional”and “Luna park”.She also took part in many TV programmes with internationalrenowned singers as Jon Secada and Ricky Martin.
Luis Ramirez
is a dancer,musician, choreographer and magician. He includes in his studies different dance styles as jazz, flamenco and tango. As a magician, he started his artistic career with the art of prestidigitation and card’s and object’s manipulation.
After having studied for many years with the most prestigeous teachers of Argentina. in 2000, he gained professional respect being the protagonist of the play about the poet Federico.Garcia Lorca’s life, where he developed all his skills for flamenco.
As a chopreographer she made the choreography for ConjuroTango A new story of Tango…“Roots of Tango” and “Destino de arrabal” and of the tango singer Zully Goldfarb.
EZEQUILE FARFARO & GUGGI ZUKAKOVA
Expect surprises for the 3rd, 4th or even 5th couple as we decide who to field in as guest artists to our participating cities. This will be a free for all which will surely keep everyone in suspense. Shall we have a Nuevo couple? Or a Salon couple? Or even a Stage Tango couple? Or all of the above? Your guess is as good as ours.
